All female adaptation of Angela Carter's "The Bloody Chamber".
Fusing circus skills, theatre, music and cabaret, we developed a visually striking, playfully subversive adaptation of Carter's classic reinvention of well-known folk tales.
"An ingenious spectacle" Theatre South East
"The pairing of the fairy tales with real-life events is done masterfully. Connecting a few of the short stories into a wider story is a genius idea that adds power and resonance to the production" The Mancunion

A three week tour that turned into a three year adventure
To celebrate 25 years of making theatre, Proteus theatre company decided to restage their first ever production: The Elephant Man. Only this time we'd reinvent it together.
An unexpected runaway success from the first performance, we determined to keep telling Joseph Merrick's story until, armed with a slew of 5 star reviews, we found ourselves heading for (Off) Broadway!

Storytelling Innovation
Having successfully trialled an improvised storytelling performance as part of the Globe's "Read not Dead" programme, I was asked to develop an ongoing storytelling offer.
Over the course of the next ten years, I created six new shows, collaborated with a variety of other artists and trained fellow professionals.
I performed for a wide range of audiences including academic specialists, students, children, families and those who thought Shakespeare wasn't for them!
